Research Week Symposium Call for Abstracts


The Howard University Armour J. Blackburn Center

The Annual Research Symposium is the highlight of Research Week. During the research symposium, students, faculty, and research staff will discuss their research findings with other Howard University members, external visitors from various federal agencies, private industry, and surrounding universities. Prizes will be awarded for the winning presentations in several categories. The Call for Abstracts is officially open. We encourage students, faculty, and research staff to submit an abstract for the research symposium.

In this spirit, our students and faculty will exhibit poster and oral presentations at the Annual Research Symposium in the Armour J.

Poole, will present the Annual Christmas Concert sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences, Division of Fine Arts and the Office of University Choirs & Bands. Included in the program are classic Christmas carols, holiday songs, and spirituals such as Michael Praetorius’ “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming”, Dan Forrest’s “A Christmas Lullaby”, and William L. Dawson’s “Hail Mary”.
