LGBTQ+ Inclusion for Faculty/Staff Training

Zoom

Understanding inclusive language prepares faculty and staff to interact with a variety of Howard University identities. Inclusive gender and sexuality language specifically can help to create and maintain safe spaces. Here at Howard, students may identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer or transgender, or non-binary and the language we use can either encourage or discourage safe space. Attend the LGBTQ+ Inclusion Training to learn more! This training is open to faculty and staff only and will be facilitated by the Director of the Mayor's Office for LGBTQ Affairs.
